For those interested the “motion effects” are once again the use of the smudge tool, in this case waaay over used. As for the comment that Johnny should just have gotten a holodeck girl, I say: You think he hasn’t before? That didn’t end well for him last time we saw it anyway, and this is “more of a challenge”? I dunno.

It occurred to me yesterday that I may have finally reached the end of the internet. Not that it’s ending or that I’ve seen everything on it, but recently I think I’ve gotten tired of most things on the internet. I have my comics that I check, every once in a while I find a new one that I like and hopefully have time to go through the archive, the ones I recommend are all on the links page and every once in a while a new one shows up. But overall I’ve come to the point where I’m a bit tired of roaming the internet for various things. Kinda takes the fun out of being an internet/e-mail addict, especially when I don’t get much in the way of e-mails and most of the forums I frequent have slowed down a fair bit recently. Perhaps it’s an age thing, I’ve grown out of it? I don’t know. I was never really one for MMPORGs so I don’t do that and I’ve exhausted my interest in a lot of wikis and of course tvtropes. I have my own stuff to work on, of course, and I don’t plan on going away from the internet or anything, but it seems like I’ve reached the point where there isn’t a whole lot of satisfaction for me to sit on the internet all day long. I guess that’s a good thing given that I should probably be paying more attention to family and work and such, it’s just strange that when you find yourself coming out of an addiction simply because it’s no fun anymore. Guess that means I won’t need that intervention.

Next time also take a hologram girl then …
I agree with the internet thing. I do my comic and read some. Tweek my site, hit some forums and play in photoshop or work on the comic, writing and building. Don’t game. And I just got a decent highspeed connection. It happens.
I’ve discovered the joys of RSS feeds. Now I let the Internet come to me.
but but a hologirl may say yes. at least a real girl has all the chances and pleasure of saying no and kicking you in the nuts. can you imagine a holo girl doing that? just not the same
also the internet is become less and less fun but remember its been in use for well over 50 years the human race is running out of ideas to do with it. and if these new stricter anti piracy/adult material rules go into effect its just going to be 1 giant encyclopedia with funny pictures to spice it up
It’s been in use for well over 50 years, you say? Wow… that decade sure went by in a hurry, because I distinctly remember the Internet turning 40 less than a month ago. Google “internet turns 40″ and you should get a lot of matches (as well as a couple of conflicting dates on the exact date of its innovation… but the general time of year is still the same).
Sorry for the non-comic-related comment, but disinformation really annoys me.
is that suposed to be MMORPGs in yuor rant or is the som other term i havent heard of?
yeah, wrong acronym. well I don’t play them, so meh. Sorry.
