It’s not as big a danger as you’d think, really. There’s enough pirates cruising around that the chance of you getting hit is fairly slim, unless you actually have something worth getting. In that case, you’re dead in the water…err…vacuum.
also standard rule of mmo. avoid hi level jerks that think pvp involves attacking the lowest level enemies they can because they know they can not win against there own level. (i know how those wowtards work and yes they are hated in wow and RL the same amount)
Ah PvP, one of the reasons (the others are pretty much people who manage to be jerks and/or annoying even without using PvP) that the only time I play an MMO is if I’m the one running the server.
