Well, Marty’s cortosis hand has a big advantage. But is it big enough? I reckon he’s got some other surprises in store though.

personally i’d make pauldrons and grieves out of the stuff, hidden within normal armor of cause, no one expects you to catch lightsabers with your forearm…
Mandalorians already thought of that, unfortunatiy lightsaber resistant materials tend to be stiff, so there are weak points at the joints.
