I built this new Engineering over a year before this comic was photographed and put up. The old Engineering set hasn’t existed in over a year also, that’s what happens when I make a huge buffer.

New vote incentive over at top webcomics. That’s My Vader!

Ahh the problems with a large buffer. On the other hand you don’t have to worry about schedule slips too much.
Swanky digs. I like the throwback telephone handset in red (though I suppose there’s always a time when a private conversation is needed, too).
Sound powered phone. For when everything else stops working. . . .
What, did you think the direct line from the bridge used the standard comm array?
I’ve seen a warp drive with many odd parts, but a tyre? Ahh well, if it works, good for him!
How else would you expect them to get mileage out of the drive? :p
So what is the typical time period between the production of a strip and its publication?
for a a while it was a really long time, as I had a year worth of buffer. I was trying to do that again for season 9 but I’ve hit some snags so it’s a couple of months with a main comic and about a month with the weekends.
I really like the lighting in this strip, Doc. It’s really well done.
So, where’s the toaster?
Exactly what I was wondering!
What? No toaster? Meh… I liked Shauna’s version better…
