What I want to know is why they are waiting until they’re already in the war zone to separate the ship. Wouldn’t it make more sense to leave the saucer in friendly territory?
So instead of being without warp drive in orbit of a friendly planet or at a starbase, they’re without warp drive in the middle of a warzone? I get they don’t have a warp drive, but they’re not gonna have warp whether they’re in Alliance or Remulan space, isn’t it better to be without warp somewhere safe? I didn’t think they were going to take part in the battle, just be out of the way.
Yus, yus I would.
My very first thought. “Nothing bad can come of this!”
I enjoy accidentally responding to the wrong post. It affirms my self esteem.
LOL.
Now why does the part about Dr. Kramer’s programs make me do a double take as though THAT was a bad idea?
I know what you mean! I hope they ran it through an anti-virus/firewall/spyware-blocker/disinfectant/anti-bacterial-hand-wash first.
My thought is “heh heh this is where it goes horribly right”
The thing going through my mind when I saw that was something along the lines of “yup, they’re doomed”
So… will the Bridge computer come out like Durandal or like something from Sirius Cybernetics Corporation?
I like the way that Belinda and Johnny are the only ones on Bob’s bridge without scary faces…
And yet they both scare people, perhaps even more than Dr. Kramer.

Not when the saucer doesn’t have a warp drive.
