A new set that goes off the side of the new bridge. It’s the Captain’s Office. I’m not calling it a Ready Room, besides the fact that it’s a silly sounding name, it was also a wrong usage of the actual military term.
Also, no, you don’t have to search the archives. I’ve never mentioned Kalybus in comic before. It’s information Marty picked up on his own during his time as a Sith.

Does the Captain get a fish?
I was thinking model ships. After all, who would feed the fish?
A beagle puppy then?
A cactus, minimal upkeep and you don’t have to clean up after it.
If the Captain got a fish, Shauna’s cat would get one soon after.
Thanks for the comment. I was ready to hit the search button.
I wonder if Dr. Legostar plays a lot of DDO? (Dungeons & Dragons Online.)
I do not.
Thing is, Roddenberry took a lot of liberties with his usage of naval terms and such. Starfleet was never meant to be a military organization like a terrestrial Navy, so some terms and ideas got “repurposed”.
You mean like giving the captain his own “Yacht” on the ship instead of a launch?
I always thought “ready room” sounded stupid — ready for what?
I did not realise it was a mis-use of a genuine term, though (I might have suspected it if I’d thought about it).
You could say it’s the Captain’s Ready Room (stand’s ready near his duty station the bridge).
I think that the correct term is ‘Captain’s Day Cabin’; although, it is a term I remember from Traveller Supplement 5: Azhanti High Lightning
The wiki article the doc linked called it a captain’s sea cabin.
Well, as the Muffin is in space, I would say “captain’s sea cabin” would be a misnomer. Captain’s office is fine as that is essentially what it is.
