it didn’t just happen, it happened at least once in every reincarnation of star trek

  2. pretty_blossom says:

with those new VR games the potential for an actual holodeck is getting nearer – one would just hope that there wouldn’t be an actual personality transfer in real life…

  3. BrickVoid says:

When TAG says “physical patterns” he means real crewmembers right? I guess this is one way of saying they’re having an out-of-body experience if so! :D

  4. Kaian says:

The question I see is this. Is he just parodying the board game? Or the movie?

  5. Specter177 says:

    Hey! I liked that episode.

youd think by now hed be used to these kind of things.

  7. Jamey says:

I’m reminded of my brilliant friend Andy, who had a number of rants that were a bit like stand-up comedy routines. One of them started with “Make me the captain of the Enterprise, and the FIRST thing I do, the VERY FIRST THING, is rip out that holodeck and leave it floating in space somewhere.”

His premise being, in what universe is an ENTERTAINMENT DEVICE allowed to threaten the lives of the crew of a military vessel? :)

  8. Ryubbert Narraetsor says:

It’s kinda cute how you think Trek counts as a ‘serious’ show…. :p

  9. dell2342 says:

Some of my favorite dialog came from the DS:9 ep.
Sisko/Dr Noah: …and here in my island fortress…
Bashier/Spy: But we’re up in the mountains!
Sisko: Sorry, I’m getting ahead of myself.
