There’s not even enough width on the tile for say 12:02. Even if you Photoshop it, unless you resize you’re fixed to times with (at least) two 1s in it.
TLG printed that tile incorrectly. I think it’s mostly because of space reasons but usually in LCD style numeric displays the ’1′ on the right side of the display is spaced further because of the unlit parts of the number it’s displaying and therefore it’s not bunched up next to the other numbers on the left side like on this tile. That being said, it’s a pretty awesome tile, you can get two numeric displays out of it if the bunched up number thing doesn’t bother you!
I think they did that intentionally. Notice how it says 12:01 and not something like 12:00. This way you CAN get two displays. And people will probably be less bothered by the lack of space between the last two numbers than by what appears to be extra space between the first two.
You know shauna is going to correct that deficiency before she leaves.
Funny, I though that red fire sticker *was* the toaster!
Yay! I’ve finally caught up
if its 12:01 the next time this set appears…
It’s like a VCR clock, and there’s lots of power surges, as with all scifi shows.
It *could* be 10:21 the next time it appears.

The next time you see it, it’ll be 10:21.
