I think the ‘huh, what, and oh’ triple balloon in the last panel would make more sense if it was coming from Ensign Tenka instead of from Cindy.
I think it’s supposed to be; the balloon’s ‘tail’ is just confusingly arranged.
I think that it’d be better if it had been left off entirely. I don’t know about anyone else, but I usually read implicit reactions into monologues anyways; making it explicit when it doesn’t really add anything important just crowds up the panel, to the effect seen here.
It made perfect sense to me, and I like it when there are moments of realistic confusion in stories.
Red… saving people since Hollywood first thought of Slasher movies!
