The Bjorg
“Borg? Sounds Swedish.”
This gives a whole new meaning to “big box store.”
What you did there. I saw it. And it was hilarious.
I wonder if they assimilated a certain muppet Swedish Chef at some previous assimilation before encountering the Muffin?
it might not be too bad. I mean meat balls and mashed potatoes. Plus Maximizing your living space as well as your non-living space.
Like Bob, I’m not incredibly surprised by this.
Where I live (Europe) there is a shop that I shall not mention that is the basic form of the Bjorg.
I’m trying to decide if the use of “vill” and “will” was accidental or intentionally used for comedic effect.
Check the ‘Ve’ in ‘Ve are the bjorg’ …
so i was close with the Canadian Borg?
Curse you, now I have Jonathon Coulton running through my head again.
You’re welcome.
Does anyone else get that the accent they’re using is based on Chekov’s voice from Star Trek? I’m not sure what the exact term is but I’m sure someone will know!
You were closer to the mark with the Swedish Chef.
Your commenting on this idea would suggest otherwise!
My God… Alien Nazi’s with fashion sense…
Nazi’s are German. The Borg sound Swedish, not German.
Lutherans–in– spaaaaace!
Ok. LOL! There, I said it.
3rd speech bubble is the zenith of this comic.
So what you’re saying is that I can only go down from here? Should I just quit while I’m ahead?
I wonder if the Bjorg call their starship the Ikea?
Is there a giant IKEA logo on the screen now?
All I want to say is
Called it.
I have a question: Is the casting as the Bjorg as swedish connected to the fact that lego is danish? Or am I reading to much into it?
Reading too much into it. It mainly comes from the line in Star Trek: First Contact. “Borg? Sounds Swedish.”
Could be worse … they could only wear clothing consisting of swans… (Yeah, yeah, I know. Close enough.)
if it’s ikea, I’m expecting the ship to start falling apart any second now
