I always did wonder why tractor beams were never used more than once. Or what their range was since it is a “Beam” or if something got caught in between the beamer and the beam-ee (so to speak) I also now wonder about the chances of seeing a character here in ISU colors (Go ‘Clones!)
I always imagined the range of a tractor beam to be like that of a vacuum cleaner; really strong the closer you are to it, but exponentially weaker the farther away you get, with the actual range determined by the size and power of the actual device.

Next time they should try reversing the polarity!
