yes, there was a cartoon series “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes”, it was based off of the second movie “Return of the Killer Tomatoes” which, IMO, was the better of the two.

Not only do I remember “The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes”, but also “The Return of the Killer Tomatoes”–featuring a very young, unknown George Clooney! I kid you not! And DaveBro–the tomatoes were always meant to be so bad they’re good. Not even the film-makers took these seriously.
