The I.P.A.Y.P.H.O.N.E. closes down when not in use. I thought about having some sound effects when it did that but I decided it does so silently. I guess maybe some old ones that haven’t held up so well or are in bad neighborhoods might be noisier.
Ah, it seems I was right to feel the return of Tyn to the comic was foreboding of something…
Hopefully this is the start of a new overarching plot line, rather than yet another (apparently) independent thread. There are enough loose ends in the comic as it is, and things are starting to fray in my opinion.
I don’t know. I really like stories that go more than one place. I prefer the independent stories since overarching plot lines tend to get serious and I like that Legostar Galactica has been going so long without getting ultra-serious all the time.
Don’t think of them as loose threads. Think of them as unintentional foreshadowing. Cuz the thing about loose threads is you can spin ‘em into something interesting later on.
Just one thing about the I.P.A.Y.P.H.O.N.E. (apart from what that stands for? ) is i assume standing on it’s base activates it for use, so isn’t the blue cover come roof portion just going to smack a user in the face on it’s way up?
Possible a slight design flaw? Still it does give you some sound effects for it, *SMACK*, “OW!” ;-p
Never underestimate the profitability of being an evil bastard. Or a group of them.
I suspect that there aren’t any actual independent plot points here, and that they’ll all be referenced or brought back and show more importance than previously given credit for. We’ve seen how the good doctor here likes to set things up wa~y in advance.

I understand what you’re saying; but to me there just seems to be far too many loose ends…

it’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
So it was designed by Microscoff?
could also be the Macintosh of the future
It was a joint venture.
Is this what E.T. usually uses to phone home?
Wait… The sith are a buissness?
