Normal just isn’t the word.

New vote incentive over at top webcomics. I’m trying something new over at the vote incentive. They will be available for viewing elsewhere in the future for those who miss it, and while it might seem like they don’t exactly relate to the comic you will eventually see that they do and for now you’ll have to take it on faith that they occur within the LGverse. I would really love some feedback on them too.

To be honest, haven’t everyone had friends, family, and coworkers do some really odd things sometimes? I doubt I would suspect much until something truly obvious occurred.
What was he expecting?
dude you’re on a ship called the ‘Muffin’ of course the people there are going to be a little weird, ok very weird.
its official bob is part of the crew in terms of weird. and they fact its the droids replacement all over again.
The only time “normal” can be used to describe them is if it has an “ab-” prefix attached.
I disagree. They’re very normal…
for the crew of the Muffin. >,>
So what if the entire command crew are dopplegangers, each hoping the others don’t find out?
For all we know both captains are fakes, and the real one is sitting back watching the show.
I’d love to see that happen.
Oh now I have to do a Star Trek fanfic about that…
Thanks! I’m picturing a Changeling, a Species 8472, a Section 31 agent, probably Tal Shiar and Obsidian Order agents, possibly a time traveller (maybe two, one from the future and one from the past), and likely an Orion spy. Oh! Maybe even a rogue hologram!
Obviously, this would have to take place on Deep Space Nine, since the security there is way more lax than a starship. Just gotta figure out how the heck to get a Species 8472 that far away to begin with…
I think the only starship crew that would be considered less normal than the Muffin, would be the crew of the Martian Successor Nadesico. Check out the anime series if you have not seen it yet.
Another alternative: Irresponsible Captain Tylor’s Soyokaze.
Any Star Traks crew, but most especially Cube #347 from BorgSpace and the crew of the Aerostar/Explorer from Vexed Generation. Those guys have some /issues/…
I linked the Traks site in my username if anyone is curious…
I am unfamiliar with this concept you humans call “normal”?
Normal is as normal does and normal is overrated
