Honestly, thinking about it, I’m not entirely sure what this room they’re in is supposed to be. I guess on the ship’s map it would be one of those rooms labeled “Multipurpose Room.”
I figured it was a supply room of some type that currently doesn’t have much stored in it. After all, supply rooms aren’t always full of supplies, especially after being raided by the crew/employees.
First, bad villian, bad! DO NOT gloat. It ruins your karma.
Second do not do the incredibly awesome juryrig on the ‘buffoons’ that makes them blow up the ship for you. IT won’t WORK! Just put a nice sized bomb down in that unfinished section and call it a day.
And yeah I assume they were meant to have things in them but being a wartime build they skipped stuff to get the ship into the war.
RL US navy had things like this happen in WW2. Long time ship in service was used for over a decade before they found that one walled in section was unused bunk rooms.
Last panel looks like the word balloon is coming from the red. . . fire extinguisher. . . canister. . . barrel. . . thing in the corner
Consequentially, nobody ever suspects the red fire extinguisher canister barrel thing in the corner. I look forward to more comics featuring the red fire extinguisher canister barrel thing in the corner as the villain.
