Building up an immunity of sorts to such attacks will be difficult and risky, but if anyone can do it, Belinda can.

I don’t know, I think a large portion of the Muffin crew could be considered uniquely qualified in regards to handling insanity

    • hamof says:

Immunity to mind assault through repeated exposure to said assault? Because that worked so well for Harry Potter.

      • rmsgrey says:

Hey, a surprising number of people learn to swim by being thrown into a pool of water.

Some things really are best learned through practice (though during the training period, you’re often more vulnerable to said assaults…)

      • BrokenEye, the True False Prophet says:

        Worked out alright for Robin

  2. Wolf72 says:

It’ll be like eating some new super hot food … the first few tastes really knock you out, but after a while you can stand it … course the finished product might be as bad as the initial, but that’s a whole ‘nother issue.

  3. DaveBro says:

So the first taste was only red-hot insanity.

  4. LordVargonius says:

Remind me again why Larry is only … um … Remind me again what Larry even did on the Muffin?

  5. WJS says:

I guess when she shrugged off that blast C’thulhu gave her, he wasn’t really trying that hard?

  6. ladyblanc says:

They’re actually really lucky to have Larry on the crew. He’s a really good guy. For an eldritch horror.
