I mean really, who could enforce that?

I know Belinda has always been a little rude and blunt, but I don’t recall her ever being so directly insulting to a coworker like this. I get the feeling here that she just has complete contempt for Baas Oon. I know she doesn’t not believe in his homeopathic ideals, but really this seems quite unprofessional.

I had also been under the impression that she had buried the hatchet with Dr. Oon some. Perhaps it’s meant to be a product of the lingering aftereffects of the King of Yellow’s mental assaults.

“doesn’t not”? Nice double negative you got there, it cancels out, so that would read “I know she does believe in his homeopathic ideals, but really this seems quite unprofessional.” 😀

To me it looks more like a severe case of “doctors are the worst patients”.

Is the ghost of Master Tobias still around? I mean, obviously he can’t *enforce* anything, being a ghost and all, but he would make a good moral authority.

That’s not the Belinda we remember…the damage must have been more than just physical.

    • Oldfan says:

Agreed, it’s probably safe to say that Belinda has more than a mild case of PTSD as well as all her other injuries; even Jedi Masters are not completely immune to things like this. She likely needs time and a little basic psychotherapy to fully come to grips with everything that’s happened. Now, getting her to actually talk to Alice about her mental state should lead to an interesting set of comic strips here!

Also she’s likely in a great deal of pain regardless of painkillers (which she might actually haved turned down if they would impede her ability to think clearly) or Jedi pain suppression meditation (or whatever) which from experience I know makes one quite snippy.
