Red wants the problem solved right away.  And wouldn’t you?  Too bad that’s not how psychopharmacology works.

I’d make a comment here, but since psychopharmacology is really more of my brother’s field than mine, I’m not going to say anything.

I hope this works better than the last time Alice prescribed drugs for the crew.

  3. BrickVoid says:

Have the drugs Alice is going to prescribe to Red been checked over by Dr. Reines yet? 😀 I don’t think Red should take any drugs unless Belinda’s had a chance to see if there are any drastic side-effects he should know about first! 😉

    • Ralthar says:

Seems like if there was a drug with drastic side effects, Red would be who you would WANT to test it on. I mean no matter how bad it got, he’d probably bounce back in a day or two.

I agree fully. The side effects of various medications can be quite…disturbing…

I once was prescribed an antidepressant years ago whose side effect was suicide. Well, i suppose that is one way to stop living with depression…

    • brian says:

That is pretty typical. Anti-depressants work in a variety of different ways. The catch is that there are a variety of different causes of depression, and depending on the cause, certain anti-depressants will help, while others will exacerbate the issue. It’s why anti-depressants are always paired with follow up visits. The really horrible thing is I had a friend who was afraid of getting hospitalized if she admitted she was getting suicidal thoughts and waited almost a year before switching medications.
