Wouldn’t it be funny if this super weapon had an Achilles heel, such as if the mega-laser hit a reflective surface made of a special alloy that is tilted at a certain angle, that it would reflect right back at the originating laser array and destroy it instead? 😀 Lucas made a nice mega-laser, but he had it just bust anything to shreds, it should’ve had something more than some reactor exhaust port they had to fly TIE fighters at. 😀
Yeah, TIE fighters aren’t equipped with proton torpedoes. Or photon torpedoes. Or Motown torpedoes. Or crouton torpedoes. Or banana-fana-fo-foton torpedoes. Any kind of torpedoes, really.
