The Jedi Council
The Jedi Council is the ruling body of the Jedi Order. It is composed of five Masters who preside over a larger council and dictate Jedi Law. Though the council itself was a larger body the core council governed the dealings of the Jedi. The Core Council or simply Jedi Council consisted of 5 members, one lifetime member, two long-term members and two limited-term members.
