Geography

Tatooine was a desert world, with little more to show for it's climate and geography.

History

Settled by moisture farmers, gangsters, thieves, scoundrels, and other miscreants, Tatooine contained some of the least savory elements of the galaxy's population. During the Synari War it served as a staging area for weapons of mass destruction and saw combat between the Jedi Martin Jasper, Belinda Reines and the Sith Darth Angrius, Darth Tiffany, and Darth Pester. It was also where Marty's right hand was severed and destroyed.
