Plot Synopsis

There are bigger problems going on outside the crew's lives.

Plot Summary

William "Hotshot" Baker" appeared almost out of thin air on the Muffin and after a brief conversation with his superior and the parasite in his head he set out to solve an important problem. He promptly ran into Allison Waines who recognized him from their academy days, questioned how he was still around when the planet he was last sent to disappeared and then threw him in the brig. Hotshot requested an audience with the Captain who came down, read through his file and began questioning Hotshot.
Hotshot explained how much time travel was involved and that he needed to correct a possible problem with the crew and that all it would take would be some interviews. After having Belinda check him out, confirming that he did indeed have a parasite in his head and that it appeared to be benign, Captain Smith agreed to let Hotshot interview the crew. One by one he spoke with the command crew and was able to gather the information he needed to report back to his own captain.
They parted on good terms and Bob wished Hotshot luck with his whole time travel issues, preferring to stay out of that kind of headache as much as possible. When Hotshot returned to his crew he reported back to his Captain that things had been much more minor than they had expected and everything was resolved now. The crew of the time ship then set course for their next problem.
