Plot Synopsis
Travelers from the future visit the Muffin.
Plot Summary
In the future, Dr. Remy Gasper was in the process of overloading a time dilation device when Captain Halloran came to check on the project, unaware of Dr. Gasper's intentions. Before the machine could reach critical Admiral Cunningham arrived to see what all the commotion was about and the three were thrown back in time.
They found themselves on Robin's old ship in 2360 and Dr. Gasper explained that they had come back to change something and that it was imperative they make the change because his experiment destroyed the universe as they knew it. Dr. Gasper explained that saving a certain life, the life of a woman he loved, was the only way to prevent his actions in the future and that if they accomplish it they will simply fade away and their future will never happen.
Before they could figure out what to do about the possibility of running into their younger selves the younger Robin appears and they go before the Captain with the issue, while Dr. Gasper met with Mr. Combs and had a cryptic conversation that would influence the change he needed to happen.
When Captain Halloran and Admiral Cunningham found Dr. Gasper he informed them that things had been set into motion and they would soon be disappearing. While they discussed the possibility that Dr. Gasper's calculations were wrong they suddenly vanished.
Elsewhere a young Ensign Remy Gasper joins the crew and finds himself enamored with Alice.
