Shore Leave

Plot Synopsis

The lives of the crew split as they go their separate ways for vacation and get into various kinds of trouble.

Plot Summary

As the crew head out on various vacation plans Johnny, Robin, and Skip encounter various spaceline related difficulties such as luggage weight and too much excitement.
When Bob and Shauna start to express romantic feelings Conway shows up to interrupt things, as usual. Shauna suggest the Captain spend some time in the casino and that she will deal with Conway, whom she finds several other cats and a infant dinosaur to play with.
Red and D. B. set out on their own after Red finishes a very close shave, though their journey is predictably painful.
Johnny, Skip and Robin make it to the planet MTV and on their way to festivities pass two familiar faces. They soon discover a jetski? which Johnny takes off on and Skip and Robin suggest he might not return with, but when he does he relates a rather embarrassing story about girls he could not approach.
Belinda and Alice arrive at the conference and find themselves not exactly surrounded by the intellectual elite, including Dr. Malcom Notio. They head off to perform a planned experiment involving inebriation.
Back on Deep Babylon 8 trouble brews as a Rodentian Ambassdor roams the station as does Conway and his posse. As the Captain gambles he is summoned over the intercom to deal with the problem, and learns the Conway has eaten the Ambassador and this is slightly frowned upon, though he learns from Shauna this is not the first time Conway has done something like this.
TAG, 46 and Gary chew the fat about not getting a lot of screen time at which point the Author arrives to give them other things to complain about. TAG then roams the station and must deal with a swindler who 46 later dispatches, but TAG is quickly dragged away by The Visible Man to meet the other members of the League of Ordinary Gentlemen.
Red and D.B. head out on a Safari on the Planet Lost World unknowingly walking into the trap of a Big Game Hunter who wishes to hunt them. They are saved by Gary but problems grow worse when Steve Irwin shows up to study Gary.
Belinda, Alice and Dr. Notio sit through a long and boring presentation and work on another experiment on alcohol, finding themselves in a strange place the next morning.
Johnny continues to have more trouble with the ladies while Skip and Robin clean up and it seems Johnny's reputation has spread across the whole planet, even to the bartender. Robin and Skip arrive to tell Johnny that the party is moving to Dagobah and Marty senses a disturbance in the Force as revelers arrive on the swamp planet.
