Plot Summary

When a strange ship? appears on deck 34 46 soon encounters a man calling himself The Doctor. When 46 brings this man to the attention of The Captain we learn that Bob has met the Doctor before and the two are old friends. The Doctor explains that there is a problem on the Muffin and that a portal generator that Shauna built is gently proding holes in the fabric of the universe. After much investigation and help from Shauna, The Doctor is able to fix the device and repair the universe. He is also introduced to Belinda and he explains to all of them that the next time they would meet him would be in his past, and thus he knows all of them. He expresses his sympathy to Belinda for all she is about to go through. When The Doctor bids them farewell he enters his ship and we see that his current traveling companion is Belinda from the future. She asks the Doctor if he thinks Shauna's device did any permanent damage and he suggests something would have to be looking for the holes to make it into their universe. Elsewhere in the galaxy Cthulhu is confronted by the strange and powerful King in Yellow who vows that he will take all of his children and all of the other beings in the galaxy back to Carcosa until the end of time once his power is sufficient.
