Plot Synopsis
Belinda's loss of hope determines a very important destination.
Plot Summary
In response to her loss of faith, the Doctor takes Belinda to the future and the icy planet Devlin. Here they find Admiral Steven "Skip" Tyler and Belinda marvels at how his speech has improved. Skip is part of a meeting that is planning to overthrow a corrupt Alliance and while at first this disheartens Belinda she begins to see that Skip is working to change things for the better. They discuss the past and how Belinda told Skip about the meeting and how she made sure to leave out details as not to scare him of his future. As the meeting begins behind them they wrap things up and Belinda feels assured that things will eventually turn out okay, even if she doesn't know the details.
The Doctor returns after a run in with some cybermen which he took care off. As Belinda and the Doctor return to the TARDIS, they let it decide where they will end up next and Skip is drawn back to the meeting by Captain Robert "Robbie" Smith after a discussion of how Belinda knew his parents.
