Cryogenic Freezer

Cryogenic Freezers were used when no other medical options were available and someone wanted to be frozen or needed to be frozen until a cure or treatment became available. It was also once a form of sedation used in long term space travel.

History

Originating thousands of years before the Alliance, cryogenic freezers were able to keep life forms fresh frozen for extremely long periods of time. Such was the fate of Jedi Knight Tyn, who spend tens of thousands of years frozen before being thawed and immediately executed to prove Darth Noyance's loyalty.

Construction

Cryogenic freezers use a fast freeze technique that allows tissue to be properly recovered during the thaw processes.
