The reason this storyline occurs here is because today marks the 4th year since my wife and I got married.  I like to have something in the comic for each anniversary, thought I’d do a bit more for this one.  Remember back when Cindy’s Dad was visiting the ship, and that random background event with her and Red and him sitting at a table?  Yeah, that was cause Red was asking his permission to marry Cindy.

It’s really too bad they didn’t release the Lord of the Rings sets earlier, then I could have actually used a real ring for this.  Oh well.

Also, that is not a photography error, Jeff really did make it back to his seat that quickly.  He’s a ninja.  They can do that.

Let’s not forget that Red’s aunt was alive in “modern day,” and that Deep Ones can be pretty old.

In truth a gambling addiction is nothing to joke about, but since Robin is a fictional character I’m gonna do it anyway.

A friend of mine has some of her artwork up for a contest to be displayed.  Do me a favor, go vote for “The Catch” over on this.

I really don’t like Corinthians 13:4.  Just about every wedding I’ve been to, somehow has to read it.  The Bible’s a pretty big book, couldn’t you find something else to read?  Or a poem or something?  I dunno.

Normally you’d think the Captain would be in charge of things like this, however seeing as how in the LGverse being a Jedi is kinda like being a priest and I swear I heard somewhere that the whole “Captain’s can marry people” thing was not true, besides, as I’ve said before.  It’s my comic, I’ll do what I want.

When I first planned this storyline I had no idea that there’d be wedding gowns available.  Didn’t have time to wait for the series 7 minifigure bride, but luckily one came with this set, so it was all good.
