Today I wanted to play around with the `Magic' article using the classical definitions of magic that computer scientist use:

``As yet unexplained, or too complicated to explain;''
``Characteristic of something that works although no one really understands why (this is especially called black magic);''
``The ultimate goal of all engineering & development, elegance in the extreme."

(all based on Clarke's Third Law: ``Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.'')

But I see that in Legostargalactica magic is just like the force, something you can use with force of will or training.
So I did not touched the article, but still I wanted to share the idea here.

well if it helps Merlin Radiation more or less only exists in one region of space, unlike the Force.

It is nice to know, but I like share those definition of magic (overall the first) because they are very good for real world.

For example
Real world magicians do not actually have special powers, in fact they use unexplained skills to cheat the common senses.
For the majority of people a cell phone works for magic: its mechanisms are unexplained or too hard to be explained.
