well technically two of those are me, and also technically it doesn't really "start" until august 25th. Even after that I don't have huge expectations unless I either find some kind of incentive to post or get a larger readership that likes posting in the forums, i'm not really sure how some other comics accomplish it.

I do neuroscience research for a living. Currently I'm studying chronic pain, specifically the role of a protein called ND2 in the NMDA receptor complex. Basically our lab is trying to separate the pain response passed on by the NMDA receptor from the role it plays in learning and memory. It could one day become a novel treatment for sufferers of chronic neuropathic pain.
