Legostar Galactica

Some of you may have noticed last week's ads in the blog about a game called Star Pirates. A few weeks back through a friend in the comic community I was approached by Star Pirates to advertise for them. Their game, which I have played only a small bit of, is a fairly simple online game that for people who actually have time to play seems like a lot of fun. They paid me rather generously for a week of advertising and as such I was very pleased with the whole thing. Since they were satisfied with that week of advertising I approached them about becoming a permanent "sponsor" for Legostar Galactica. Instead of the ad in the blog I will be modifying the google ad on the right hand side of the page with a smaller google ad and a permanent ad for Star Pirates, I will be designing a few such ads for the site, so things don't get too boring. Their ads will appear in other places on the site as well, as well as an increase of google ads, this is to help earn some money to pay for hosting and eventually once my wife and I settle into a little bit better pay bracket this money will also go to pay for advertising for the comic as well as supplies for the comic to improve the quality of the LGverse in general. I will also likely be starting up some extra comics, on Saturdays primarily that will serve as an advertisement for Star Pirates but will also act as an extension of the comic, based on the comic I already did for them and put up these comics will basically be a holodeck adventure for Johnny, Skip and Robin and the hilarity (hopefully) that ensues. I have an interest in expanding the comic universe with other comics as well, but more details about that will come when I have more details to give. I encourage all of you to give Star Pirates a try if for no other reason that they're sponsoring a comic that you enjoy, thank you and goodnight.
