Gary, as stated on his resume, is a giant squid creature. Gary is the Muffin's cook after getting fed up with his agent only finding him jobs as a giant squid creature or other similar monster who eats red-shirted guys.
Biography
Gary first appeared on the planet Glllkyst where he ate Ensign Red. Gary also was used as the demon that Johnny was supposed to slay in Johnny's holodeck adventure. After encountering Gary again on a mission to explore whether another desolate planet had Class W life, Captain Bob Smith offered Gary the position of ship's cook on the Muffin; he accepted and blended just right in the unorthodox crew. It became friend of Red: Gary thinks that it is the only one allowed to hurt Red.

Gary enjoys embroidery and macrame, can type 90 words per minute, and isn't a bad cook.
