Tyn was a Human Jedi Knight who fought in the Battle of Talum Grey on Xardania. As his body was never recovered he was presumed dead. He was in fact captured by the Sith and kept on ice for thousands of years only to be unfrozen for a duel with Darth Noyance so that Noyance could prove his loyalty. After his death he took the form of a Force Ghost and has been haunting Darth Noyance ever since, trying to sway him back to the light side.
