The Wrath of Con

Plot Synopsis

Captain Smith goes out with Shauna and meets her cat, Conway.

Plot Summary

After being invited to Shauna's quarters for dinner, Captain Smith encounters her cat, Conway. He is at first apprehensive about having the cat on the ship, however once informed that the cat has a dislike of Johnny and likes to use him as a scratching post, he decides it is worth having the cat on board. Bob and Shauna's relationship quickly progresses from dinner into the bedroom where Conway interrupts things, however the two decide to maintain a relationship and not even worry about the usual cliche of keeping it a secret.
The episode continues with various crew activities and cheap jokes, such as a black and white comic, a kitche joke with Gary and Red, a revisit of a time anomaly, and a question concerning Robin's shaving habits.
In addition, Darth Angrius's previous failure is revisted and he is given supervision of Darth Tiffany by the Dark Council.

References and Allusions

  • Most shows (and real life) with a chain of command discourage fraternizing in the ranks
  • Coloring most comics takes some work, this is not the case here
  • Conway is based on a real cat of the same name, a cat that the Author misses more than the ex-girlfriend the cat belonged to
