Plot Synopsis

A mystery is solved, but at a cost.

Plot Summary

Captain Ylissa Vella brought the crew to a ship she thought might be responsible for the abductions and furniture rearrangements they saw in the Neutral Zone. The massive ship belonged to the Bjorg, a cybernetic race intent on assimilating and changing the furniture of the entire galaxy. The Bjorg tractor beamed the Muffin and attempted to draw them in which they were able to break free from only to be caught again. Once the ship's shields were drained the Bjorg began transporting troops in and replacing furniture, leaving Alice with a lovely new coffee table.
Worried that people would be disappearing next, Captain Smith ordered security to apprehend one of the Bjorg which resulted in Sergeant Wedingo being abducted by the Bjorg. While they planned a rescue attempt things changed on the Bjorg ship, first energy readings, then a transmission came through. It appeared that Sergeant Wedingo's drug habit had rubbed off on the Bjorg and they became the Borked, a cybernetic race with a bad case of the munchies and a very short attention span. Taking advantage of their short attention span, Captain Smith had a torpedo fired past them and when their attention was diverted they go away from the Borked.
Back on the ship the loss of Sergeant Wedingo was mourned, but not for very long, and promotions were handed out to the security staff.
