Plot Synopsis

The Muffin comes across a group of cryogenically frozen humans from the 20th century.

Plot Summary

En route to pick up an Ambassador the Muffin picks up a signal from a derelict vessel? stating that it would have been best to open it during the 23ed century. They pick up the ship and find it to contain several cryogenic freezers. Three of the passengers appear to have survived and are taken on board and thawed out. The 21st century people, once unfrozen attempt to adjust to life in the 24th and a half century but run into a few problems. In addition they start to discover what happened to their descendants.
In addition to their new passangers they are soon taking on the Ambassador for a journey into the Neutral Evil Zone where the Islandian Ambassador will open negotiations with the Tozians, though the crew is blissfully unaware of what the negotiations involve.
The new passengers prove especially irksome to Gary and when one of them tries to ride the Giant Squid like a horse it leads to a disastrous interruption of negotiations. Captain Smith decides to redez-vous with the Calzone? and offload the three 21st centuryers and they pray that the actions did not start another war.
A mysterious voice speaks to General Phlegm and a strange alien about the success of an agent planted on the cryoship, leading us to believe there was a bigger plot at work.
