Meeting of the Mindless

Plot Synopsis

A troubling development brings representatives of some of the most powerful races in the galaxy together.

Plot Summary

Belinda and The Doctor arrive at the Catacombs of Taj'na to meet with representatives of the other First Ones; ; representing the Punctuations, Cthulhu representing the Old Ones, and Osh Kosh B'gosh representing the Cryptlons, with the Doctor to stand in for the Time Lords. To their surprise the Doctor explains that Belinda is there on behalf of the Ancients and after much confusion explains that the midichlorians that create the Force are really ascended Ancients.
After the introductions Cthulhu explains that they were called together because he was confronted by the King in Yellow, a powerful entity from his people's home dimension, Carcosa who wants to drag everyone and everything back to that dimension kicking and screaming all the time. They learn that Cthulhu has no real idea how to fight the King and when he is sufficiently mocked he reverts to a larger more intimidating form that has no effect on anyone.
Everyone agrees to arm their respective peoples and when all is said and done Belinda calls out ; on the perpendicular dimension he was responsible for and how he made her evil. ; tells her that it wasn't he that made her evil, she had the potential for it the entire time, and she still does. As they turn to leave Cthulhu once again hits on Belinda and she once again rejects him.
Back on the TARDIS? Belinda starts to feel very demoralized about everything and the Doctor puts a plan into action to get her back to where she should be, emotionally.
