Joppa

Joppa was a mostly barren world capable of supporting humanoid life. It was one headquarters of the Acris Corporation.

Geography

Though most of Joppa consisted of desert and mountain ranges it did support sufficient plant life to create an atmosphere acceptable to most humanoid species. Only 22% of the planet's surface was water, but substantial subterranean sources of water existed.

History

The Acris Corporation settled on Joppa as a base of operations early in its conception. With no indigenous sentient lifeforms and access to a number of important trade routes, it was an ideal choice.
A large portion of Acris's Headquarters on Joppa was destroyed during a ransom attempt of several Alliance officers.
