Plot Synopsis

Marty investigates the trail of a possibly powerful and dangerous adversary.

Plot Summary

Marty met with Shauna's mob contact Donalans to obtain information on Kalybus. This resulted in his acquisition of a data disk which he prompted put into an I.P.A.Y.P.H.O.N.E. which resulted in him getting proof that Kalybus was just a code name and that he had interests in a number of corporations and shady organizations. With Tyn providing color commentary he went from Ondello's shady district to a more tourist oriented area where he found a fake store front and asked about Kalybus and waited to get taken in for it. Two thugs came to find him and Marty used the Jedi mind trick on them to have them take him to their boss. Simon Bocrov quickly realized their mistake when they handed over his lightsaber. Marty quickly got the upper hand and interrogated Bocrov for information about Kalybus.
Bocrov indicated that Kalybus was strongly connected with the Acris Corporation and then asked if Marty as going to kill him, but Marty simply stated that he hoped the information would get back to Kalybus and maybe he would find Marty rather than having to worry about the other way around. While Marty presented his new found information to Captain Smith, Bocrov received a visit from Horace Logrum who chastised Bocrov for revealing that Kalybus was connected to Acris, which Bocrov thought was a lie he was feeding the Jedi. Logrum killed Bocrov for it.
When Krantz and Stern woke up and found their boss dead they assumed Marty had killed him and got out of there as fast as they could. Meanwhile Logrum reported to Kalybus and Kalybus laid out his plan to capture Marty when he came looking for them and sell him to the highest bidder, all the while watching news reports about the missing Valerian?.
