Season 11, Episode 1: Seeing Double, Cooper-Hofstadter Bridge

In truth, it really is referred to as a mirror, just don’t tell Alice that.

New vote incentive over at top webcomics. I’m trying something new over at the vote incentive. They will be available for viewing elsewhere in the future for those who miss it, and while it might seem like they don’t exactly relate to the comic you will eventually see that they do and for now you’ll have to take it on faith that they occur within the LGverse. I would really love some feedback on them too.

Alice – Mirror
I see what you did there…
I was thinking the same thing.
I would peek through the mirror to find out what the heck is taking my parallel universe self so long to talk to me!
I noticed the LGwiki link for the Cooper-Hofstadter Bridge all but confirms Stargate SG-1 (or at least an alternate version of it) as canon in the LGverse.
So if Daniel Jackson was the first human to travel through a Cooper-Hofstadter Bridge, would the pioneer of the Einstein-Rosen Bridge be one John Crichton? Because unless the Warp Drive is 60x faster than the Hetch Drive, there’s plenty of room for the Uncharted Territories.
…Sorry, Farscape and SG-1 were the two sci-fi shows I watched a lot of growing up, and I’m just hyped at the thought of at least a cameo for the former.
This more confirms the existence of Big Bang Theory as canon within the LGverse.
(Plus, Stargate was previously confirmed when a System Lord showed up).
I meant confirming the series as a whole. One cameo isn’t enough for that.
Forgetting the fact that I actually had a Stargate in the comic?
I’m pretty sure that during one of the story arcs a Stargate was mentioned as being one of the primary forms of travel (I believe it was during a time travel arc ;D )
It’s been ten years – and yet they still mess around with dimensional anomalies like this.
Som Sheldon allowed Leonard to work on a theoretical paper with him and get credit for it? Was this before or after he was replaced by a pod person or his parallel universe good twin?
It was probably a loophole within the room-mate agreement.
Was there a particular mathematical sequence that you utilized for deciding how those colored Lego pieces were placed around the edge of that object? I don’t see any actual repeating pattern, but for some reason it looks to me like there is some sort of a specific sequence or something in determining their placement.
Or is this just my imagination? Either way, it looks cool.
Mostly trying really hard not to put two of the same color next to each other.
There is a pattern. It’s just in a dimension you can’t perceive…
The ref to Big Bang got a laugh out loud from me. Best sitcom ever.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a transparent 1-by-4 tile before.
So, another one of my favorite shows has now been officially included in this canon. Dr. Legostar, you are officially one of my favorite people.
There was a Stargate used in the “Clown Wars” storyline *years* ago, a fairly recent Second String strip featured an Asgard, and I think at one point Teal’c was interviewed on Late Night With Boba Fett. Also, one of the ‘at-large’ members of the former Dark Council is a Goa’uld. Stargate references have never been as prominent as Star Wars or Trek, but they’ve certainly been there.
…Or are you referring to the bit about “Doctors Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter”?
my first thought was “yet another device taken from Stargate SG-1″ then I noticed “Cooper-Hofstadter” then I finally got “Alice in Wonderland” as well… Alice may as well call it a looking glass…
