This guy really doesn’t want to find out what Marty’s really bad side is, although we’ve seen the Sith side, I believe we haven’t seen him get really mad at anyone, yet! 😀
IMO, Marty must have such a mighty grip on the light side of the Force that he is able to use dark side powers without succumbing to the dark side just like Mace Windu could. That is how Marty was able to pull of the act of being a powerful Sith without actually turning bad and apparently the Council knows this. In which case this guy really doesn’t want Marty to push his limits to see just how far he can go.
