Apparently I never even knew it, either – to what incident is Dr. Notio referring? 😀
That’s not Dr. Notio; that’s Ensign Ryan from Engineering.
I believe the ensign is the one who found the Spear of Destiny and gave it to Checkov, thereby saving the entire ship (including Ensign Red Shirt!)
If this isn’t the event described, then I’m at a loss too. xD
Probably an epsido which ended up on the floor of the producer’s cutting room. 😉
